The group was talking to the old man about a piece of land he sold to someone from the group, which the old man claims he didn't sell anything since he still had the documents. The shooter kept saying that he can't start a fire in a land that doesn't belong to him. Obviously they were teasing the old man trying to start a confusion |

Land ownership in South American countries is a tangled topic, to say the least. My wife's friend move to Guatemala to be with some guy (long story in itself). This guy's house is on land he doesn't own, which I'm told is common. He can't just sell the house to someone without a lot of hoop jumping plus there is a scenario where the land owner can literally kick you out of the house. Yes, it's fucked up and I'll bet there was a screw-over brewing which is why we have this video.

Poor old man. No situational awareness. You're in brazil! Arguing an d hate leads to death. Imagine going through 70s and 80s, living best years of your life. A time we can only get jealous of. Partying, women, safe coke, great music, can buy a house, lotsa jobs and this is how it all ends. No goodbye, no reflection, just over in seconds. |

As I could understand, the old man wanted 700.000 for the land, but was bringing down to 600.000 for the truck guys. The guys said they already bought it for 120.000. They keep saying the land is theirs, but the old man has the documents in his name. My guess is, since the old man is poor, they though they could pay a fraction of the value and he would be happy. |
