Land Dispute Leads to Man Getting Run Over by Tractor Eight Times
In Bharatpur, Rajasthan state, India, a young man was crushed to death after being run over by a tractor at least eight times, amidst a land dispute. According to police, there had been a dispute over the land for many years between B.G. and A.S.G. Wednesday morning saw a face-off between the two parties, which escalated from heated exchanges to a physical altercation with sticks and stones. Amid the brawl, A.'s son, N.G., fell to the ground. Following this, a young man from B.'s group swiftly moved to push N. down further. Although some individuals attempted to intervene, the perpetrator climbed onto a tractor, and proceeded to drive over N. multiple times. N. died on the scene, and at least a dozen people sustained injuries during the brawl. |

Land is what determines your social status in India. Most of the Indian well to do are from tribes alias castes that inherited land and estates and have intergenerational wealth which affords them their education, rank, station, financing of their ladder climbing (businesses etc). 90% of Indian tribes and castes have 0 land and hence are relegated to low HDI due to low financing capacity as a result of asset-based financing. Not surprised. |

All you judgmental people probably neglected to consider that they guy he ran over DID NOT think his tractor was sexy, and let him know it! This causes many miscombobulations in India. Well, that, and land disputes.  |
