He wasn't resisting arrest and had his hands in the air. I agree, wtf is wrong with people that they think a black guy walking around with an AR15 would get shot if the color was switched in this situation. He would have been arrested exactly the same way.

When we had like half the story it looked like self defense. But we didn't know everything, so maybe he did something that makes him responsible.

But then it's basically all laid out, and backed with video. And an eyewitness who wasn't there for either side, but a journalist. A journalist from a liberal news agency even.

And the entire story goes like this.

Kyle "the shooter" leaves an area he'd been all night, doing interviews, giving medical attention to protesters. And the police line moves, and suddenly he's not allowed to go back where he had been, and then he becomes a target because he found himself alone among the "protesters"

A he's confronted, he try's to disengage. And keeps trying to disengage. But several people pursue him, try to attack him, try to take his gun. They chase him into an area where cars are parked. then, someone chasing him fires a shot. Kyle ducks behind a car. Then the first victim runs around the car and lunges to grab Kyle's gun. And Kyle shoots him dead.

Kyle then calls 911, telling them what he did. When he starts getting chased again. He tries to disengage. Until he's either pushed or trips to the ground. Guy jumps onto him, he shoots. Another guy jumps on him, swinging a skateboard, he shoots, another guy approached with a gun, he shoots.

The kid only shot people who attacked him. That were within inches of him.

The kid was running to the police before he took any shots. He tried everything to prevent what happened.

There's literally no way without having some politically slanted view you could say this isn't self defense.

If this isn't self defense, then there's no such thing anymore.
