What if it was a different kid, and totally different circumstances leading him up to that point? Even transported from elsewhere, and dropped into that situation, right then, with a gun? I imagine too, what if I blacked out, and then came back to, while I was on the ground like he was there for a sec. In that case I actually think he did a pretty good job not hurting/killing even more people than he did. Especially if he hit that dude that was holding a gun right in the arm on purpose--I doubt that though. Is that how the law works though? Do they account for this kid's stupidity, or do they judge it really dry and technical? Input positions data, input blood pressure readings data, set time parameters, and pull lever. Then out pops the verdict from the verdict slot--GUILTY Y/N on a card, and one or the other will be punched out like a Scantron key. |
