Vedderman removes the users ability to say "FUCK OFF" in his posts......
Well that's some BS right there. I've just seen his posts in this thread and there are clear dislikes there... I even disliked and retracted just to check.

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse, Counter Protestor Shoots Rioters

Here's my take on all of this—and it's very simple, really:
When Antifa (or anyone) start throwing Molotovs and set fire to public, federal, governmental and private property, when they murder, terrorize, maim and beat random people unrelated to their purported original grievance—innocent public servants and civilians alike—when they randomly incite and commit terroristic acts against the public as a whole and American governmental agencies and institutions who did no harm to them—then, by default, they become ENEMY COMBATANTS—no different then ISIS or Al-Qaeda, with no constitutional or citizenship protections—to be executed on-sight.
To wit: All terrorists, foreign or domestic, are not afforded civil rights protections and as such, well-regulated militias—as empowered by rhe constitution—are within their rights to liquidate them on-sight. End of story.

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse, Counter Protestor Shoots Rioters

Protesters: Defund the police!

Also Protesters: that guys shooting! He's got a gun! Call the police! Call 911!

Can't have it both ways, sorry.
Yes. You can. I don't know if you're being willfully ignorant or if you just have so much bullshit news spoonfed to you that you can't discern the difference.

The entire purpose behind 'defunding' the police is to reallocate resources so that less manpower and money is spent on smaller, menial shit where conflicts arise from situations that could be de-escalated.

There is no meaningful push to 'defund the police' that also mandates removing their emergency response capability in extreme situations where violence is already ongoing.

The point is to avoid having ten angry cops with hands on their guns show up when a convenience store owner calls in a counterfeit sawbuck or a drunk is sleeping in his car in a parking lot.

It is not to leave the public powerless when a fat-faced psychopath is stalking the street with an AR-15 and firing into the crowd.

Old boy only shot about 5 rounds. I'd say he was in more control than the average shooter. Also it doesn't matter if you agree with his actions or not. He's 17 with a rifle that the law requires you be 21 to purchase or own. He crossed state lines armed as a minor with someone else's car and someone else's rifle. Whoever that someone else is they're gonna be crucified in court.
Federal charges then.

I'm surprised all the mods don't use that function. Even I find it distracting getting "Fucked Off", and I don't even have any official work to do on this site.

It's too much of a short cut. If you don't even feel strongly enough about something to try to explain yourself with words, then it's very likely that your opinion is as important as any single click ever should be. Even writing out "Fuck Off" is better.
At least then I think, "Well, this kid really means it."

*Except for J81--he was the absolute Grand Pinnacle of clicking "Fuck Offs". I still cherish finding those.

Re: Kyle Rittenhouse, Counter Protestor Shoots Rioters

Also, respectfully, to all of you objecting about his age, I'd like to point out that in the American Revolutionary War, for example, enlisted men were even younger than 17—but in this case, age is a moot point, since government has already abdicated their duty to enforce law and order and have let Antifa run amok to commit terroristic acts against Americans as a whole—and as such, according to the Constitution, there is no need to deputize or be a member of the government agent/police/army, to defend the country against enemies foreign or domestic. Anybody, of any age, who can hold a weapon and shoot, are within their rights to defend the public against terrorists, when witnessing such acts. The founders and framers of the Constitution have left the term 'well-regulated militia' be rather vague—and that, for good reason.
P.S. I do, however, have a problem with him when he shot into the crowd, when nobody was in his proximity anymore. But, unfortunately, this is to be expected when there is no appropriate, coordinated police response to keep communities safe from terrorists. But such are the depredations of war—and this is WAR.

My heart does go out, however, to everyone who lost family members on either side—and I do express regret and sorrow for their personal loss, and for those who lost their life.

Exactly! I still have my 'fuck off fanclub' of people I've never even encountered here! No matter what I post, these sad fucks click that 'fuck off' button.

You are very right. It's like an unwritten rule in other countries. Maybe I won't start drawing parallels between all this in the US right now, and all the colour revolutions of recent, elsewhere in the world, ie. funding, tactic, etc.

But my point is that you never saw the rebels tearing apart their own countries in Syria, Libya, Yugoslavia, or the Ukraine shouting out for police, or somehow expecting legal recompense for damages they sustained.
Also, you left out that beautiful Obama term "Moderate Rebel". I'm surprised that other countries aren't calling these rioters that already.
