An Uzi or Mac10 typically goes for about 3500$ while an M-16 Style rifle goes for around 20,000$. And full-auto MGs like a M-60 or M-249 can run into 100,000$.

And no bullets are not between 6-12$, the ammo is the same price for a semi-auto 5.56 vs a full auto 5.56. That is ridiculous to state.

In my experience and from talking to gun stores, if you can pass a standard background check, you'll pass the check after filling out ATF form 4. The average return on paperwork is 3-9 months, at times it has been over a year. They have intentionally made it slow. Years ago they streamlined the process to speed up returns and they had a surge of people wanting to buy FFA items so they shut that down and went back to the old way. I believe this happened during the Obama administration.

whether you are for the guy or completely hate his guts and believe me, there is some middle ground. We should all agree that this is happening because the state is allowing it to happen. There is no reason for a 17 year old to be in that type of environment, especially with a weapon.
