The russians carpet bombed the whole city of grozny killing several thousands of innocent people, they committed war crimes against this small country, and funny thing is that chechnya actually won the first chechen war until Russia decided to go by its own rules and destroyed their whole country systematically with katusha rockets, artillery and tanks, they also roamed the streets, invaded their homes drunk on vodka they raped woman, kids and killed elders. Im not saying all russians are bad but the majority of russian soldiers in chechnya were youngsters, troubblemakers sent to serve tin chechnya instead of prison time and former veterans from the afghan war. The chechens are one of the strongest people that ever walked on earth, not even the mongols beat them and that says more than any of you brave internet warriors have to say about chechens and Chechnya. There is a reason that every chechen fighter in mma is either undefeated or almost undefeated, simply because they are trained fighters from they were kids. War has always been bound in their blood and they have had to be tough enough to defend themself. Chechen people are heavily integrated in to Russian culture and population. Not Russian as race, but as people of one country. When you say Russians you mean all the nations and people that live there. If you talking about slavic people that is a different story. In reality there are muslim soldiers in Russian army, as well as Chechen people.
