The fact is the mother was reacting to the cops presence, you can clearly see she was trying to protect her kids, cops should have retreated and let her calm down, but hey, we all know cops are escalating professionals, they can easily turn a jay walking stop into an "I was scared for my life" scenario to justify shooting a person over jay walking.
