It's the way he tilts the knife forward, it looks like it goes in but doesn't. It pierced/gashed the scalp though. You would need a lot more force to to ram a knife into a scull  |

The guy is pushing his knife closer and closer and the police wait two seconds after penetration to fire. Her injury could have easily been avoided if the sorry cops didn't hesitate. Firearms - Hesitation = Life. |

watched it a few times and it doesnt look like the knife got into the skull. im sure shell have a flesh wound but i dont think he got threw the skull bone. he was shot before...

It looks to me like she might have been cut on her forehead from the reflex action of the suspect after getting shot, but I don't think she was stabbed through the skull. She did get a ton of blood on her when the dude's head emptied out, though.
