Re: Knife Attack on Kid
i think he survived, unless some secondary causes (i.e. infection, unknown injuries) compounded his condition. you'd be amazed what you can live through...off topic, i wish someone would of recorded my near fatal accident lol would love to see my reaction to it.....i had a solid steel pipe wrench get caught in the belts of a cotton mixing machine, the motor driving it was the size of a keg btw, the wrench was flung bout 30 feet BEFORE striking me in the head just to the upper left of my right temple. it was a glancing blow obviously given the fact it traveled an additional 10 feet before striking the cinder block wall resulting in a 1 1/2 inch deep gouge. it took 11-12 stitches to close the wound, and had a severe concussion. aside from the loss of my short term memory, there is no permanent brain damage. so yes bossygirl, adrenaline and shock do wonders haha. for those who dont know, shock is actually the brains response to a potentially fatal injury, the self preservation response actually. which is why u hear bout ppl being able to amputate their own limbs without going completely insane from the pain the moment they start doing so. after theyve amputated is a completely differant story though...
