Maybe that, or maybe her head wound was so obviously incompatible with life that there was just no help to be given (or maybe they’re concussed themselves, having been knocked silly by a pressure cooker exploding in the room they were just standing in…) I’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.
