Kicked, Beaten and Stoned to Death in Street Attack at 2 AM
A man died and his friend was injured after they were attacked by a group of people in South Delhi. Police have arrested one of the accused. J. along with his friend were returning home between 2 am and 3 am returning from a friend's birthday party when a group of people were also passing from the same street. Suddenly, the group started attacking the duo with fists and stones, CCTV shows. Both of them were dragged on the street and left abandoned in a drain. The victims were later rushed to a hospital by their relatives. Rs 3,000 was missing from the pocket of one of the victims. J. succumbed to his injuries and P. was discharged after treatment. Police suspect robbery as the reason behind the incident, however, a probe is still going on. The arrested man has been identified as R.A. Police are making efforts to nab the other accused. |

Woman: (after being stabbed in the back, riddled with machine gun bullets, blasted in the face with a bazooka, and used by Austin Powers to cushion his fall from a tall building): "....you can't get away, Powers!" Austin Powers: "WHY WON'T YOU DIE?!"  The same thought ran through my head when I saw that guy try to struggle to his feet after being clubbed in the head twice. Human bodies are actually quite resilient. |
