yeah honestly watching it again it looks like he has a head wound on the top, left side of his scalp, and he might even be bleeding from the eyes, judging from the last second he’s in the sunlight to when he falls into that guys arms. the cctv doesn’t make that explicitly clear though and you can’t tell how badly he got fucked up with a towel over his face.

It looks like a clay bar or soap and it exploded when he tapped it on his wrist ..Probably a mixture of k chlorate and S wet-kneeded with clay or a dough and left there to dry turning it into a medium high contact sensitive  |
