Interesting way of looking at it, and I agree with you, on the assumption that he was indeed of sound and rational mind, and only faking a mental illness as a ploy to take advantage of others and stealing their purse, picking their pockets or whatever.

Still, I can't see a rational person going into another man's dojo, and getting up in front of the whole class as well as the instructor, and saying, "I got my black belt from Jesus Christ."

He did'nt die, he was seen walking around a few days later with only a few cuts and bruises and a slight limp, the guy did not die. It was reported on Net on many sites inc a witness which came forward to prove this. But i have to say the guy dont ok.
