That vid made me sick when I saw it last summer. From what I read at Bullshido.com, the guy actually lived. No one was ever punished for it though, as the karate school and instructor were in solid with the local cops.

I studied karate for thirteen years and that is the most despicable thing I have ever seen. Instructor Blythe should have his black belt taken away and be banished from any sort of martial art.
