Yes, and we don't have records of those peoples' brutality to each other because they didn't keep written records. Yet we keep finding pre-Columbian sites in the US where natives had genocided each other.

Evidence is evidence, whether recorded willingly or not.

Natives can do what they want with each other. It's when you terrorize a sovereign nation that didnt go out looking to pick a fight with you that the trouble starts.

Perspective is key. Theres a difference between warring savages and countries with laws.

Theres a difference between a civil skirmish in the Amazon rainforest or the African bush between two tribes, and an established country like the US going over to Africa and sticking its nose where it doesn't belong, imposing its rule merely to exploit the inhabitants and their resources.

Maybe England, France, China and just about every other country should remove themselves as well. British rule has been there for too long. Who “owns” all the diamond mines there!?! Not US.
