Re: John, Deere You DEAD

Had a call like this before. 16 year old kid was trying to “ghost drive” while he walked on the tractor attachment. He coded right when the helicopter came into view, and we still worked on him for 4 hours afterward. It was such a tragedy in the area.... until someone found his cellphone and he literally recorded his dumbass getting himself killed to show off. It is still a will known tragedy in this area, but I can’t help but lose some of that sympathy when he was doing something he damn well knew he shouldn’t have.

Run over and then disked. Yep, he's dead. Wish the camera hadn't dropped. Now I'm curious what happens when a person gets disked.

Re: John, Deere You DEAD

OMG what a pity! I've driven and worked on a dairy farm with my spouse for decades. There's a lot of stuff on the farm that could kill you. As we got toward retirement age we were like "Nope, not doing this shit again." Reflexes aren't as quick:

Re: John, Deere You DEAD

FIRST rule when filming tragedy: ALWAYS point the camera at the ground at the climax of the action. Asshole.
