I appreciate the comment and the bit of advice, I do have a tendency to ignore the little voice in my head telling me "this isnt going to go the way you hope it will." when choosing to engage in debate with some people.

In their initial response (pretty much right off the bat), I saw a red flag that showed a fundamental misunderstanding on their part that I likely wasn't going to remedy through any logical conversation and should've just publicly ended it there. I still would've done my research because I'm weird and actually enjoy the puzzle solving aspect. But yeah... it wasn't until their second response that I knew my hunch was right and further discussion was truly a lost cause and just had to laugh about it.

Specifically the part where they use the manifesto as evidence, but when I quote it to prove my various points suddenly it's conjecture. If this were a courtroom and they tried to object to my use of it, I wouldve been like "Your Honor, they opened the door by admitting the manifesto into evidence in the first place!" the judge would then turn to look at them and say "Overruled." Lol.
