This is exactly why the Russians have been destroying Chechnya for like...30 years. I personally in some ways agree with both of you. In my personal opinion, it's somewhere in the middle. Russia started fucking Chechnya over a long time ago, and shit's gotten steadily worse since then. Russia's heavy-handed [to say the least] method of 'handling' Chechnya has led to a lot of desperation and resentment among young Chechen men. This makes fertile ground for psychopaths and scumbags with promises of Paradise- and all you have to do is put this bomb in the post office.... |

Alcoholics are addicts. Addicts are known for their irrational behavior when it comes to getting their 'fix'. Blowing up convenience stores is not going to dissuade hardcore boozers, it's only going to jack up black market costs. Now would be a great time to set up a bathtub brewery there.
