Jealous Woman Sets Husband on Fire in Her Own Business
The delegate responsible for investigating the death of a man, A.C. stated that the crime was motivated by jealousy. The 50-year-old victim died after the woman set her husband on fire. The woman A.M.P, was taken to the police station on Thursday morning. The court requested her arrest in the afternoon, but as there was no response until the evening, she had to be released. The crime, which happened in the early hours of Monday, was recorded by the security cameras of the fishmonger located in Jardim América, North Zone of Rio. The woman is the owner of the establishment. Video shows the wife approaching her husband with a bottle of flammable liquid. She throws the liquid at him and lights the lighter. The man runs out of the establishment, burning. According to the Fire Department, agents were called and helped the victim, who was taken to Hospital but after being hospitalized for four days, he succumbed to his injuries and died in the early hours of Friday. 92% of his body was burned. |
