I'm here thinking of a few things: 1)How bad must they have tortured this guy for him to read his last words from a terrorist flip card. 2)They will normally show the decapitation, unless the guy had a real hard time cutting through the spine with that short knife. You can see his face was a bloody mess, and I can guarantee you he had to do a lot of sawing with that butter knife to make it all the way. |

If you listen closely, you can hear the first sounds of him getting his throat cut. It's possible that it was so brutal/gruesome that they don't want to show it. I think it's more likely that they are hopeful that releasing their propaganda videos like this, the videos will be spread in full by western media/etc. It doesn't seem to have worked but I think that's probably the idea. |
