The sad fact is Bill - and it really is sad, - most of us are fortunate to live in our sugar coated little world when it is actually far from that. The world is a fucked up place, and we are all miniscule pawns in one big game of chess. In the moment we are out, cutting our lawns so they look nice and pretty, some other poor fucker is getting his head hacked off with a pen knife. It makes me morbidly smile when the heroes on here (and they know who they are), criticize Foley for the words pre his knowing death, and how in their opinion he was a traitor for saying the things he said, when inside, he must have been shitting himself! Come on heros, walk in the man's shoes before you call him into question. They need to have a long hard think about it, maybe while popping the top on a ice cold Bud, when watching the "world" go by while sitting in their fave chair on the porch. As for all the calls for nuking regions from orbit - too much TV springs to mind!  I need to call my therapist on speed dial, as I'm ranting now! |

i just had this conversation with a friend yesterday. there was very little in the way of this jihad/caliphate/sharia bullshit back in the 80s and 90s. Saddam, Qaddafi etc.. it takes a brutal dictatorship keeping its boot on the throats of these fucking pigs to keep them inline. violence is all these people know. vice just did a good doc on the whole IS bullshit. all they want to do is fight. if they didn't have kufar(us) to kill they would be killing each other over some dumb shit. fucking subhumans.
