Re: Jack-O'-Lantress
Not this time. Marital bullshit. 'Crime of passion.' The wailing in the background is a combination of the dying woman's mother and her 10 year old child, who was present for the attack. |

Craptastic to bring the family to the party, as if it isn't douche enough to do your significant other this way. Can't imagine what stellar personal qualities unbalanced this relationship. |

Re: Jack-O'-Lantress
I thought you meant to type La Forge, as in Geordi. I looked it up anyhow--I like that there's a proper name for it, even different degrees of Le Fortation. Ooh La La. They definitely served her up with a piping hot #1, maybe a low #2. Are all three degrees below the actual eyeballs, or are skull fractures just skull fractures--irregardless of the soft bits that might get in the way? I have a skull on my shelf. Le fort fractures are all below the brain casing right? But there are those four little openings into the brain case for blood vessels in and out of the brain, just behind the eyes. So if it was a deep enough chop to cut through those--and it looks like it was, she's going braindead about as quick as having your throat cut. A little deeper still, and she was deaf too, but it looks like she would definitely still have been seeing alright. If I had to go painfully, and I had a choice in the matter, I might like to die this way. I would make myself a giant set of pointy dentures for the occasion, and have someone put them in for me after the chopping. Maybe take a picture, and show it to me, so I could swim around like some amazing muppet shark, or Animal forever. |

Re: Jack-O'-Lantress
This video is going to be a classic. The face injury reminds me of that old video where the guy dives into water but misses and face plants concrete and his head cracks open on his face vertically and doctors are trying to keep it together while he's lucid. Caused a real shit storm in 2012 or so. |

Re: Jack-O'-Lantress
The LeForte Fxs are typically caused by blunt force type injuries such as MVAs or a horizontal blow to the mid face which causes a fracture thru the maxilla. It takes an incredible amount of force and is often fatal. It can cause a dissection of the blood vessels to the brain, major damage to the frontal lobe of the brain, spinal fx, and a bunch of other stuff you don’t want to ever have wrong with your head and face. Note sure of the classifications tho. Only saw two cases of patients with LeForte Fxs and both died.

Re: Jack-O'-Lantress
I found this image, just looking online images of it. I got google suggested into spelling it two words, and with out the second E. But is the damage always below the lower cup of the skull, where the brain sits? The space in between that cup and the roof of the mouth? I mean, if you did it carefully you might leave the brain in tact? |
