Her fate would have been no different in the US. A doctor can't save you, nor can a hospital treat you, when you're being held captive by someone that's filming you as you die.

I have seen this sort of injury to a jaw that was done with a close up 9mm. Of course, a team of surgeons were present and absolutely saved him. He wasn’t going to look good, but he was going to live. It was so flipping gross! They’d lift one half of his face to suction blood and such and you could see a whole row of teeth on the flap of skin they were holding. Pretty intense, but one of my favorites.

As disturbing as this is, all I thought about was Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau when he fell into the river dressed as a hunchback, same noise  Surreal stuff |
