True. Places like this suffer a great deal because the leaders they have are 10 times out of 10 put into power by western funding (like Saddam) and kept in power as a means to siphon precious resources while building roads and hospitals at HUGE price, leaving the country with an unrealistic debt to the IMF and other world institutions. Should that leader get out of pocket and begin to side with the ppl (like Saddam), a state sponsored coupe will send him into exile w/o warning or he'll be assassinated (like Saddam).
