Sure. Just working on finally completing obedience to the Biblical commandment to exterminate all the pagans living in the "Promised Land" to prevent their polluting the people and the environment with their false gods and degenerate practices (from the Old Testament perspective). BTW the Hebrews were also commanded to destroy all of their (the Canaanites) domestic animals as well - not to let any of those pagan, pigs, cows, sheep etc. remain alive. King Saul got into big trouble when he failed to follow the instructions thoroughly enough. He slaughtered the men, women and children okay, but got greedy and kept some of the cattle and sheep. The prophet, Samuel, told him that God would relieve him of the kingdom for this act of disobedience. A little while later he was killed in battle and the famous King David succeeded him. David, described in the Old Testament as a man approved by God (well there was one exception - an adultery and murder), apparently did a more thorough job of following orders.

Yes, which side? Its not clear if you ask any rational person aware of the particular details. There is a LOT wrong on both sides of this.
