Re: The Israeli Bomb Video That Injured Those Two Teens
Israel says they'll target people sending burning kites over the wall the same as they do people shooting their makeshift rockets. I think that translates to "We've decided to start dropping bombs on children at play"

Re: The Israeli Bomb Video That Injured Those Two Teens
Lets be fair, over a thousand years of unprovoked opression and attacks... Of course their victims would fight back sooner or later especially those in proximity, makes no difference who gets killed when everyone is teaching their kids that "jews must die because our book says so". Everyone in the middle east is hardly innocent at this point |

14 May 1948 Israel was created... only 70 years ago. So no one has been oppressing Israel for over a millennia. Little bit of an exaggeration there, by about 930 years.

Re: The Israeli Bomb Video That Injured Those Two Teens
I became interested in both of your posts after I read them, as I was under the impression that Isreal had been around for only 70 years. So I decided to research stuff just to see what it was in truth. It seems you both are correct. Judaism has been around for a very long time. It began roughly between 3000 and 4000 years ago. The first major Jewish settlement wasn't established until around 1000 B.C. when the capital city of current day Jeruselum became the City of David, and 960 B.C. when the first Jewish temple was built there by Solomon. A large area around the City of David was considered to be part of what was then known as Judae. So yes we have archeological proof that a Jewish settlement was established in that area 3000 years ago at least. Though as I am sure many of you are aware, the great city and the surrounding area was conquered numerous times and fell out of Jewish hands during the millenia. Most notably by the Romans, of whom changed the names of cities and places. It was only in 1948 that the State of Isreal was established shortly after the second great war. So, that was 70 years ago. In short it is true that Judae was established many thousands of years ago, but the Isreal we know today is only 70 years old. This is important because of the tensions between Palestinians and Israelis today. As the Jewish people have a real and tangible ancient claim to the land they are on, while many Palestinians claim Isreal doesn't have any such claim. So yeah, you both are right! I just wanted to say that is all. My references: https://godtv.com/israels-70th-anniversary/ http://www.jewishwikipedia.info/4000years.html https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...tal/923651001/ |
