Nah. ISIS comes through Canada or straight into US, legally by commercial flights. And Mexican cartels aren't that badass, their sicarios are this days mostly poor expendable cannonfodder from streets. Very little percentage has military training. Just search their photos when they've catched.  Go to borderlandbeat to do some research, for example. Forget those corridos, 95% is bullshit what cartel cheerleaders take as true.  |

This wasn't the best title for a thread about the cartels. I understand that you are simply making a comparison between the brutality of the Mexican cartels to ISIS. The problem is that many people will be confused by the title and think that the Mexicans are in fact muslim extremists and further perpetuate a wrongful assumptive stereotype about muslims in general. The reality is that the majority of Cartel members proclaim to be catholic or another biblical religion, rather than Qur'an based. Just want to be clear on who is who. |

The difference is that the cartel guys just consider it good fun whereas the jihadis do it with a religious principle in mind. Most of the CDG and Zeta hit men are just kids anyway. Doing it before they've developed a conscience. Once it's in their system, they can do it again and again without hesitation. My vote goes to the cartels as the worse of the two.

Bad dubbing aside...  It wouldn't be too far fetched to assume that ISIS has landed in Mexico. I'd even go as far as stating there's a slim possibility that said ISIS members may have made their way across the border to the U.S.. If you recall, in 2014 there was a major flow of illegal immigrants flooding into the U.S.. Some of which the mainstream news were referring to as "O-T-M's" (other than Mexican)...  Maybe someone with more knowledge on this could shed some light here...am I paranoid? Or does this statement hold some weight  |
