Part of the reason they invaded Iraq was to use the country for a proxy war to fight Islamic extremeists since they don't solely have a country dedicated to them. Easier to kill in bulk when they went to Iraq to fight since Iraq drew them in from surrounding countries... Syria, Libya, Iran etc etc.... And then they stole the Iraqi's oil, embezelled hundreds of millions of dollars, killed, raped, tortured etc etc....
