in Baghdad's Kiraiyat neighborhood at a Shiite mosque. A suicide bomber entered the mosque and set of an explosive device, killing 15 people and injuring 32.

Prior to the suicide bombing, a car bomb in the city of Samarra north of the capital claimed at least four more lives in an area frequented by Sunnis.

No claims of responsibly have been made for either attack, but Sunni militants linked to al Qaeda have been known to carry out attacks against Shiites.

Im still amazed people try to go anywhere in that country. If I lived there, I would never leave the fucking house. And talk about reverse psychology with kids. Instead of punishing them by sending them to their rooms, you punish them by threating to make them go outside and play.

Shia vs Sunni

They've been killing each other for centuries but seems to be getting worse here in the last 10 years since the invasion if Iraq (2003) .. I remember in 2005 bin laden had to advise abu musab al-zarqawi to stop killing shiites as he was mainly targeting shiites with suicide bombers and had forgotten about the infidels (allied coalition forces) he was trying to start a civil war between the two.. It's more complex than that , among the insurgents/terrorists are still native Iraqi Sunnis who want to end the "Iranian Occupation" of Iraq, that's why they are still fighting the Shiite majority Government.

The native Iraqi Sunnis don't like Al-Qaeda for being to extreme, however they been known to work with them in the past.

The Shiite militias fight Sunni groups, but Shiite militias have also fought each other in the past.
