career criminals in the west living it up in prison at the tax payers expense need to be treated this way. the theft, assuming it occurred, may be considered trivial if it was just an apple (not iphone) for example but perhaps like all thieves they were a bit too mouthy and aggressive for their own good like the way shop lifters are for instance so in that case they deserved it.

Everybody hates thieves, even a thief hates to have his/her gear stolen, but true justice is not about punishing more than the crime deserves, I would've thought these guys had stolen an entire country, not a few apples.
