There appears to have been two separate stabbing incidents at New South Wales correctional complexes within the last month. Here is the news article of the fatal stabbing that occurred which has saturated Australian news media. Thanks to everyone for clearing this up.

Lol a common area is the part of the cell block that all prisoners share. Aka the day room. When they come out of their cell into the middle area, it's called a common area. They weren't referring to the part of the body. Lol
