It's an ancient grain thresher. Basically the great great grandad to the combines that we use in farming today. We have two similar such machines overgrown with blackberries on our ranch. I've never seen one that was a running example. Now I know why, they are dangerous as fuck.

I think he was a closet homosexual. He practiced his ballet in the fields behind machinery as to not be caught. Little did he know “Johnny” the thresher was a homophobic bigot. He was practicing his big arabesque flourish and Johnny dashed his dreams of being the next Ivan Visiliev in one felled swoop. Quite tragic really. He had potential.
