You have to work with what you have in the moment. Bean bag shotgun or pepper ball gun can be used, if there are officers covering with lethal force. However, you do not bring less lethal force to a lethal force scenario; it's stupid. These officers showed a lot of restraint. They were well within their right to shoot a few times before they actually did. We do not want to use any force, but we will if we need to.
