In Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh state, SPF Constable Shankar Rao committed suicide by shooting himself with a shotgun whilst on duty. He left behind a wife and two children. The reasons for his suicide are as yet unknown.

SPF Constable Commits Suicide By Shooting Himself With Gun

In Visakhapatnam, an SPF constable committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun. Shankar Rao, who was working as a gunman at the Indian Overseas Bank under Dwarka PS, was on duty at 5 am on Thursday. The SLR, who was with him, immediately shot himself with a gun and committed suicide, police said. Shankar Rao is survived by his wife and two children. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
