Makes you wonder how bloody those old battlefields were where they just had thousands of guys with swords causing arterial spray left and right. At least with gunshots, you die pretty instantly, or get paralyzed, so you aren’t left spraying blood everywhere (most of the time) |

Losing massive amounts of blood, from the old days of sword combat, also meant a very fast death. And modern warfare most definitely does not always mean a quick and painless death.
