Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
He cocked the weapon and lightly touched the trigger. "Chalana mat bhai (Do not shoot, brother)," warned the man filming the video. Smiling, the broad-shouldered man put the gun to his chest. "Arey, nahi (No)," the man said, his voice relaying the alarm. Boom. The shot was fired. The man, identified as Pawan, collapsed on the ground. Though he was rushed to a hospital, he died during treatment, officials said. The incident was reported from east Delhi's Dallupura. The pistol was licensed and it belonged to the person recording the video, the police said. The man recording the act can be heard giving Pawan tips on how to load the firearm and cautioning him not to fire it, police said. According to the police, preliminary investigations have revealed that Pawan was getting a reel filmed while performing stunts with the gun. Pawan, police said, believed the pistol was locked. However, it failed to lock, and the shot was fired, the police said. |

Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
Mmm, I have my doubts about this video. People drop dead like that when they are shot in the head, and even then theres some kind of abnormal posturing. When they are shot or stabbed in the heart, it takes them a while to actually suffocate or bleed to death, at least from what I've seen on this site. Maybe someone medically-trained might be able to provide more insight, but Im gonna call phony on this one. Cute guy, though |

Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
Why?? just why? I have held a couple of loaded guns in my life and I can tell you even if I was drunk out of my mind I just would not be silly enough to point the blowy bit in my own direction. The stupidity confounds me. |

Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
A head shot causes the funny posturing because the brain is damaged. A shot point blank to the chest would easily knock him to the ground in that fashion, The video says he was still alive but died later. So its believable. A stab does'nt deliver all that kinetic energy like a bullet, it's just in and out. The damage profile is on another level of magnitude from the bullet hit. The hydrostatic shock alone at that distance probably wreaked havoc on his system too. Edit. look at his face, he's knocked out cold and relaxed. Entirely beleivable. |

I've seen athletes drop like a stone from (usually fatal) cardiac issues. It doesn't look fake to me.
