Indian Farmer, Riding His Bicycle, Is Crushed to Death by Falling Wall
Mansa, Punjab, India 58-year-old farmer Jagjeevan Singh, who was riding his bicycle to attend to his fields during the morning rain, was killed when a wall, weakened by the rainfall, collapsed onto him. The wall belonged to an unbaked-brick storage area, kept by brick kiln owners, who had been warned several times earlier that the wall could collapse at any moment. |

How hard can it be to keep the camera trained on a stationary monitor?

Re: Indian Farmer, Riding His Bicycle, Is Crushed to Death by Falling Wall
They didn't HAVE any mortar. Just like they had no golden goose eggs. They could only build with what they had, which was rickety round bottom bricks, and 1/8th" of stucco covering for the ad they sold on the outside of the wall. The stucco seemed OK at the time they applied it. They looked at the slope, and since THEY were standing on the slope, it seemed level to them. What Indian could have possibly foreseen this? Certainly NOT Kumar, or Shehab, or any of the other ten million Indians who walked by the wall while it was under constructions, and who commented "That wall looks REALLY TIPPY"! No NORMAL Indian could be blamed for missing all these important points! So it was PROBABLY the fault of the goddess Pradesh, Lion Queen of Falling Masonry Walls (And powered electric gates, but NOT the manual gates! The Manual gate God is Moreb!) Get to know your Indian Gods, and THEY will get to know you! There are only 42,000 of them! |
