MUMBAI, (December 14, 2024) — In a heart-wrenching incident in Mumbai’s Worli Adarsh Nagar, a 19-year-old worker, Suraj Narayan Yadav, lost his life after becoming trapped in a grinder machine at a street-side Chinese food stall. The tragic accident occurred on Sunday, prompting the Dadar police to file a case against the stall owner, Sachin Kothekar. The horrific video of the entire tragedy shows Suraj getting stuck inside the grinder causing severe injury to his skull. Notably, the video is footage captured by a CCTV camera installed inside the premises.

Yadav, who hailed from Jharkhand, had been working at the stall for approximately three to four months. Kothekar, 32, employed him to assist with food preparation, including tasks like grinding raw ingredients for popular dishes such as Manchurian and Chinese Bhel. However, according to police reports, Yadav had no prior experience or training in handling the grinder machine.
