Their job is to keep large bunnies OFF the road. It looks like they were doing a good job, because I saw no large bunnies of any type inpinging on the pavement. Their frizzy frond brooms are very efficient at keeping the bunnies at bay. I don't know how well they work regarding the squirrel elements. But a peasant woman with a frond broom can only do so much. They went above and beyond, and died doing their duty. |

there's a pile of litter laying at the bottom left of the vid but they sweep, basically dust, from left to right and on top of that they get killed by a drunk fuck behind the wheel. Now that's a shitty day.

But how could they not hear the racket from the screeching tires and engine noise, as the careening vehicle was approaching at high speed? That would have given them a couple of seconds to react—but they were completely oblivious to their surroundings. No situational awareness whatsoever—no reaction.  |
