Re: India: Two Factory Workers Killed While Inflating Tire
So between electrocution and trains, I guess the third most common death in India is big ass tires. This has to be like the 4th of 5th vid I've seen of this type of shit. It's like burning tires in Africa, off duty cops in Brazil, and heavy machinery in China.

Came here to say I’m glad the dog was out of the way. Glad my sentiment is shared.

Re: India: Two Factory Workers Killed While Inflating Tire
I thought this was only an issue on big rig tires. I’m guessing there’s something that stops a car tire from over inflating, otherwise I’d hear more about people going boom at the air/water machines at the gas station.

Re: India: Two Factory Workers Killed While Inflating Tire
As someone who inflates truck tires for a living I never really saw the point to sitting on or humping one while its airing up. Is this standard training in india? |

Re: India: Two Factory Workers Killed While Inflating Tire
You can over inflate any tire to the point of explosion. Average tire inflators at the gas station don't have enough pressure to do it though for obvious liability reasons. But you could do it at your house if you didn't use a pressure gauge
