India - Student Jumps To Her Death
"A. (20), a BA student, jumped from the fourth floor of DG College in Civil Lines on Monday. She fought for her life in Halat's ICU for about six hours, but in the end she was defeated. In the evening, doctors declared the girl dead. Police has sent the body for post-mortem. The police investigation so far has confirmed suicide. One of my companies has a policy not to hire anyone with a BA degree, only BS. Their thinking is that a BA was wasting their time in school studying poetry and art, instead of concentrating on the sciences.
