I agree. This might just take the cake. Their complete disregard for their own safety, walking around the middle of the road, with their backs to traffic, which is moving at highway speeds, confident in the belief that all drivers hurtling toward them will properly assess the situation and take measures to avoid a collision, is nothing short of astonishing to me. Hell, if my car was broken down on the shoulder in that situation, and I was on the side of the car opposite the traffic, I would still be extremely uneasy and watching my back. I truly cannot fathom what they were thinking. |
