India - Off Duty Officer Missing After Jumping From Dam
"The second incident of drowning in a strong current has come to light due to incessant torrential rains in the district. Police jawan P.L., who went to bathe in the Mahanadi Dam located in Karhiya village under Chandia, has drowned at the age of 25. The state disaster management team present on the spot is also unable to do the rescue due to the rise in the water level of the river due to incessant rains. The constable was posted in the office of the Superintendent of Police. The reason why he went to the village is not known."
