Re: India: A Man Is Electrocuted To Death While On Top Of A Train
not anywhere.. adding insulation to the wires derates their capacity for power transmission.. the wires would have to be double the size if insulated to be able to handle the power transmitted. the cost goes up exponentially. the two pops was the substations attempt at restoring power. the first overcurrent protection sense a short ( dumb fuck touching the wire) and opened.. a second bypass breaker closed in "hopes" of continuing power flow. when it sensed there was stil la short to earth ( dumb fuck's hand being melted at this point to the wire, unable to let go and already dead) it in turn opened up. relatively low voltage however.. probably less than 25Kv. you should see what 250Kv does.. |
