India - Financier Hacked To Death With Machete
"T.M., a financier from Velankanni town in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district, was hacked to death by three unknown miscreants. He was killed inside his office on Wednesday, August 17, at 9.30 pm. The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed in his office. Indiatoday is not displaying the video due to its gory and graphic content. In the CCTV visuals, the victim, T.M., can be seen counting cash while sitting on a chair in his office. Suddenly, unidentified miscreants barge into the office space and try to hack T.M. with machetes. T.M., who was initially able to fend off the attack, was eventually overpowered by the three men and brutally hacked to death inside his office. The three men aggressively hacked at T.M., who was lying on the floor of the office, and fled the spot. The victim died on the spot. Another individual was also present in the office at the time of the incident. The man, identified as M., was also beaten up by the assailants when he tried to prevent the attack on T.M.. M., who was also injured in the incident, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Nagai Government Hospital."
