Jabalpur Murder: Man, Who Killed Partner in Resort, Arrested from Rajasthan.

The accused is a resident of Maharashtra's Nasik and a history-sheeter named in at least 37 cases.

The Madhya Pradesh Police on Friday, 18 November arrested the man who killed his partner in Jabalpur’s Mekhala Resort from Sirohi district in Rajasthan.

In a grisly case, Hemant Rajendra Bhadane, initially claiming to be Abhijeet Patidar on at least two videos recorded after the murder, allegedly slit the throat of his partner S. J.

The accused is a resident of Maharashtra's Nasik and a history-sheeter named in at least 37 cases in Nasik and Thane districts alone.

A day after he was arrested, he was brought to Jabalpur at around 5 am on Saturday, 19 November. He was produced in a local court the same day.

The accused had been absconding since Monday, 7 November.

Mukesh Joga, Inspector General, Jabalpur range, said:

We caught the accused from Sirohi, Rajasthan. His name is H. R. B a resident of Nasik, Maharashtra, and he is named in around 37 cases.

Accused youth had informed police that he suspected the deceased of infidelity after he saw pictures of someone else in her phone. He then planned of murdering her and then escaped with her phone, ATM card, chain, earn ring etc.

Police recovered the ATM card, phone, ear rings and chain from the accused along with Rs 1.52 lakh cash that he had withdrawn from the ATM during this time.

Earlier, on November 8, the body of a 25-year-old woman was found from a room at a resort in Jabalpur. Police said that a woman had come to the resort with a youth around three days ago.

On November 11, the accused youth shared a video on social media where he could be heard saying, “Bewafai Nahi Karne Ka...Bewafai... (Do not be disloyal...)”.

In the video, the entire resort room was soaked in blood. Later, the accused was seen showing the face (throat already slit) of the woman by lifting up a blanket. He then made another oist sharing his picture with the deceased with the caption,“Janu heaven mein phir milenge (Dear we will meet in heaven again).”
