The driver of a private bus has been arrested. A traffic cop, who was deployed at the site at the time of the accident, said the bus drove for about nine km on the wrong lane of the expressway before hitting the SUV. "The driver is responsible for the accident," he said. "Six of the eight people, a family, in the Mahindra TUV died and two are critically injured - they are admitted to the hospital. The driver has been arrested, he is being questioned and stringent sections are being invoked in the FIR. The family was on their way to move into a new home. 9 km and not noticing you're driving into traffic on a possible daily route  Actually around 11,000 people die due to wrong way collisions each year  · |
