Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Woman in Minneapolis
Roughly 50% of this thread consists of posters specifically addressing, attacking, quoting, or ardently disagreeing with me. You and I have spoken to one another fewer than three times prior to his thread, where we have principally argued. Why would I possibly assume your default position was some sort of good natured sarcasm? We have no social precedent for that.

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Woman in Minneapolis
Forget the fucking Politics for a moment...if you want to protest ICE or the ice cream man or Ronald fucking McDonald...feel free to do that...But if I am standing in front of your vehicle (I have seen the Entire tape, not the BS edits here)...and you mash on the Gas, KNOWING FULL WELL I am standing there, then you will CEASE TO FUCKING EXIST. It doesnt matter WHAT WHY OR HOW I got in front of your vehicle....the FACT IS I am there and you have a 2 TON WEAPON under your foot. (I will give you that if I am trying to rob or rape you AND am shouting that kind of shit...then RUN ME DOWN!) But SOMEWHERE SOMEHOW we have decided that Our FREEDOMS include the RIGHT to RUN ANYONE OVER that we dont agree with or agree with what they are doing at that moment. Even a fucking Constitutional Attorney would KNOW BETTER than to try and INTERPRET THE SPIRIT AND MEANING of the LAW in a moment like this. Pick your BATTLES assholes...either way, YOU LOSE (you wind up dead, and even if your family wins a lawsuit, YOU'RE DEAD) A very similar situation occurred in my city about a year or 2 ago. A pregnant 20 something lady had shoplifted liquor from a grocery store. The police had confronted her in her parking space at the store. She refused to comply with the typical "get out of the car show me ID" shit...She decided it was HER RIGHT to Run Over the Officer right in front of her vehicle. Laws dont apply to her apparently....so she mashed the gas and he shot her dead. Very very unfortunate, and yes, maybe he could have moved or something...I dont know. I DO KNOW SHE DID NOT NEED TO ESCALATE THIS CRIME AND PUSH ON THE GAS....Whether we like it or not...she moved this police interaction (whether she was guilty or not) into a deadly confrontation. We dont get to say " I TRIED TO RUN HIM OVER BECAUSE I WAS 1) NOT WRONG or 2) AFRAID FOR MY OWN LIFE. That choice was already made when we chose NOT TO FUCKING COMPLY. I think if we could magically ask this pregnant lady or the one in Minneapolis...they would BOTH WISH AND SAY THEY WOULD HAVE MADE BETTER FUCKING CHOICES. Just like getting in the FACE of law enforcement when you protest your speeding ticket, theft, assault or whatever the issue IS....you ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT WIN ON THE SPOT. You can have your day in Court- where you CAN protest and argue your case or stance. See- people want to Push and PUSH the limits and Bait the other side (Law enforcement does this too)...But when, God Forbid, it ALL GOES TO SHIT...people Cry "I didnt do Anything!! I did Nothing Illegal!!" Yeah, you did something...you tried to antagonize, irritate, bully whatever you call these 2 women's stupidly immature behavior...pushing it to the "Edge of the Cliff"...but when someone gets hurt, They have ZERO responsibility in the entire interaction. Yes, you can protest like these 2 ladies did...but is it or Was It worth the outcome, or the Possible Outcome?? And these were PARENTS!!?? Awesome Example..not. Yes many things are LEGAL or ACCEPTABLE...BUT IT DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD!! Isnt that Exactly what people are saying about this ICE guy's actions....but the same applies to These Two women!! What if the guy didnt draw and she ran him down and killed him?? Probably Prison. Worth it? Sane people would say No. FAFO....PLAY STUPID GAMES...WIN STUPID PRIZES. Almost forgot, the Officer that shot the pregnant girl that attempted to run him over was charged with Murder and found Not Guilty. It wasnt about stealing booze...she made it about the CHOICE SHE MADE of running someone over. |

13 years on this site and you still haven't found a space bar, a tab key, or any sort of punctuation whatsoever? Did you install some sort of homebrewed ellipsis button on your keyboard? Jesus, dude. Fuck protestors in cars. You've clearly developed a weapon of modern domestic terrorism right here. |

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Woman in Minneapolis
Today on a news channel they had on a retired Police Chief from San Diego I believe. He was asked several questions about the incident and he was neutral on wether the shooting was justified or not. He was critical on training for street issues. The first thing he stated is you never put yourself in front of a vehicle or in position where a vehicle can hit you. He also said ALL law Enforcement is trained to avoid vehicles when they accelerate not get in the way. Ice has a free ticket right now in their enforcement. They are on the verge of abusing these privileges and frankly mostly likely already have. This should surprise no one. We have seen the same targeted abuse toward US citizens by the IRS and especially by the FBI. We see it come from both sides of the isle. No one should be on their high horse right now over their party. They both do the same thing in different ways to suit their politics. Neither deserve the titles appointed to them by US. Yet we elect the same bunch right back in. |

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Woman in Minneapolis
She was asked what now? Sorry, been parsing a lot of data the last two days. I must have missed something in one of the videos. Where was it that she was asked to stop? And stop what? Stop parking? Stop watching? Stop breathing? Wait now...she escalated the situation by trying to flee 2 seconds before she was murdered? You...don't think maybe someone hiding behind a mask with a 9mm hard-on escalated it a bit by running at her parked car, trying to force entry through the driver's side door, and screaming "SHITHEAD, GET OUT OF THE FUCKING CAR!!!"? Maybe? Just a little ? Teensy bit of escalation there? Or is that sort of tactic what ICE's webpage refers to when it states: ICE officers and agents prioritize safety — including the safety of the people they arrest — and are highly trained in de-escalation. Because the last words Renee Good was recording saying before Ross put four rounds in her as she tried to flee were her calmly saying "That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you." As she said that, she made direct, nonthreatening eye contact with him and smiled. Not a sneaky, sinister smile or anything. Just a normal human smile. If you know what one of those looks like. So...you know. Help a dumb old man like me understand this whole 'escalation' thing here. |

FAFO, Fash. I thought you hardboys liked it when authority figures got the hammers out if someone breaks the rules. Oh wait, lemme try another approach... "If he'd just complied with my directive, he never woulda gotten merc'd!" That's the way, right? |
