I mean in a perfect world we would have no evil people that wish to destroy our country, and we'd have unlimited resources and housing for everyone in the world, all 6 billion of them to come live in the USA.

That isn't very realistic though. Life has more complex nuances than that. We can't even fed, take care of or house everyone that is already here.

You are right though, hundreds of years ago the white man took over this land. And every other land has been conquered and reconquered, and we like to think that present society is above and past all of the conquering, but that also isn't true.

Life is cruel and brutal, and believe it or not it was worse in the dark ages. But being realistic helps cope.

She turned to avoid him. If she'd floored it straight forward, he'd be in the hospital with a broken pelvis and she'd still be alive and facing charges. But in the time she took to correct her course and turn the wheel to avoid him, he shot her in the face for her trouble.
